The following is a copy of an email I received this week from the Obama camp. Apparently Fox is one of the few media outlets which is dispensing REAL information and it is making Obama and his minions nervous. Seems they have forgotten our country has "FREE SPEECH" which includes the ability to have opinions which may not agree with those of our lofty leader.
The democrats are SO scared that they actually are spending a great deal of money to attempt to thwart FOX NEWS and their ability to perhaps share some inconvenient information that Obama is really uncomfortable about ANY of us reading. Interesting isn't it! A president of the United States is advocating limiting our free speech and fair information! That smells like a rat. NOTE: I did not change this email except removing their links. I refuse to help them in this goal.

Dear MoveOn member,
All year, FOX has worked 24/7 to block President Obama's agenda—repeating lies about "death panels," promoting Tea Party protests, and whipping up fake political scandals.1
Now, President Obama is fighting back. The White House communications director said FOX is a "wing of the Republican Party...let's not pretend they're a news network."2 To draw attention to its biased coverage, President Obama will not appear on FOX for the rest of this year.3
It's about time Democrats stood up to FOX! Can you sign this petition asking Democrats to support President Obama's stance by staying off FOX as long as he does? We'll deliver it to Democratic leaders. Clicking here will add your name:
LOL----I am SO Cheeky---I removed their link!
The petition says: "Democrats should support President Obama's effort to call out FOX. Please stay off FOX for as long as he does."
Democrats often appear on FOX in hopes of reaching out to conservative viewers. But FOX cuts off their mic, distorts what they say, or runs biased headlines at the bottom of the screen.4 In the end, Democrats always lose on FOX.
FOX insists there's a difference between its news shows and its right-wing opinion shows with Glenn Beck, Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, and others.
But in August, FOX's so-called news shows "aired 22 clips of town hall meeting attendees opposed" to Obama's health care plans and zero in support. CNN and MSNBC were more fair and balanced.5
In another "news" story, FOX passed off a GOP press release as its own research—typo and all.6
FOX executives now describe the channel as "the voice of opposition" to Obama's agenda. FOX president Roger Ailes—a former adviser to Nixon, Reagan, and George H.W. Bush—said, "I see this as the Alamo."7
But a Capitol Hill newspaper reports, "In the House and Senate, Democrats who pledged to follow the administration's near-boycott of Fox were hard to find, although many expressed support for Obama's stance."8
Democrats will only find the courage to join Obama if they hear from enough concerned voters. Sign this petition to ask Democratic leaders to stay off FOX. Clicking here will add your name:
Ha Ha Cheeky deleted that link too!
Thanks for all you do.

BTW
Who the heck is this "team" that is working so hard to thwart free speech and freedom of information? They aren't brave enough to put their last names on this e-mail which is annoying. I got this in my private email---which means they have MY full name.
BTW..............here is the link to FOX NEWS....make sure you go and "follow" them. It is our way of saying that we can read and decide for ourselves what we want to read! Support freedom of speech and freedom of the press!

Comfort
Fox News has grown an incredible 20% just this year, incredible when you consider that this is not an election year. These are all Democrats, and more importantly independents. In fact their demographics show that their viewers span all demographics, and pretty much an even split between Republicans/Conservatives and Democrats/independents.
One out five in America watch Fox News channel sometime during the day.
1Yep...Which makes this whiney e-mail all the more laughable. It ts proof HE can't control everything BUT he is not going to quit trying.
2Everything in this email is so laughable. All the "major" news outlets were calling the teaparty members names and scoffing at their efforts. How is that so much better than Fox? Since all other news outlets have left slants, can't we have one station that slants right?

Fox News is "operating basically as talk radio," President Obama suggested in an interview airing today.
After weeks of public feuding between the cable news channel and the president's top aides, Obama seemed to agree with statements by his advisers that Fox is not a real "news station."
"I think what our advisers have simply said is that we are going to take media as it comes," Obama told NBC's Savannah Guthrie. "And if media is operating basically as a talk radio format then that's one thing, and if it's operating as a news outlet that's another but it's not something I'm losing sleep over."
White House Senior Adviser David Axelrod said this weekend that Fox is "not really a news station." That echoies similar comments made by White House Communications Director Anita Dunn and White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel.

My Cheeky response:
What a load of crap. Can they sue any of them for liable?
Are we to somehow believe that Obama can so easily dismiss the ONLY media outlet he cannot control as being less "newsworthy" simply because he says so?
Obviously he has lost ALL ability to remember one of the important foundations upon which America was built upon... freedom of speech/freedom of the press.
I say..........
"Press this Obama--you can't control the truth"
4I find it worrisome that the President continues to complain about Fox News. I agree cheeky, he is forgetting about the first amendment.
5Yes...that little tiny detail...is HUGE>
